I wrote in a previous post that I was going to take a break from blending but it’s just impossible! The challenge of trying to make an image look like the real thing is just too much fun.

    Hi I just found your blog and am blown away by your artwork. I love the way you use pastels. It looks so creamy and smooth and rich. Do you mind sharing what brand of pastels and types of grounds you use? I am a pastelist too and am still searching for the right combination of materials…

    I love this, I too blend a lot and have been told when I do pastels that blending is ok but the marks that show are like brush work. They are your signature your voice. I say whatever you like, is your style, so go with it.
