Splatter paint and egg SOLD

splatter 12" x 12" pastel more info 12″ x 12″ unframed original pastel
SOLD

I sprained my thumb a couple of weeks ago and took a break from painting. Once I decided to get started again I had difficulty coming up with an exciting composition. Then I saw the roll of splattered paint duct tape on the kitchen counter. I taped it onto a plate and cracked the egg. The rest is history!

Such a fun piece. It’s not going to be an easy task coming up with another exciting composition.

I have been sitting here going through your beautiful paintings. I love your work. I am interested in knowing something, if you would share the info with me. I am mesmerized with the wet look you have in some areas of your paintings done in pastel and I am wondering how you accomplished it? Thanks in advance i you wish to share with me. I use watercolors but have did a little bit of work in pastels.

Whoops. I just noticed the mistakes in the sentence above. I meant to say I have done a little bit of work in pastels

    Hi Ria,
I am sorry to hear about your thumb, but I think this is terrific! I love lots of color and to me the eggs make a clown face! Love it!
