8″ x 8″ acrylic painting on 3/8″ board, painted sides
I was going to knit and once I found this yarn ball in my stash I decided that I’d rather paint it. Since the yarn looks so delicious I named the painting “Ramen Yarn”.
I wish you could see this in person. The background color is a beautiful, rich turquoise. I spend a lot of time trying to match the colors of the painting accurately, but sometimes it doesn’t do the painting justice and some details are lost. This is very close but . . .
The rim of the bowl is painted with “gold” paint which I’ve never used before. I love the effect.
