Below are some commissioned pet portraits which I’ve painted in the past. I take diligent care to express the personality of each of my subjects and work with clients until they are completely satisfied with the results.
– First, send me a photo of your dog.
– email it or snail mail it to me.
-Please be sure to send a clear picture of your dog and feel free to send a few different copies. Your photos will be returned to you as soon as I scan them if they are mailed in. If you want a specific background you can send a photo for reference or give me a general idea of what you want the background to look like. If the background is not important to you I will use my own discretion.
Frequently asked questions about commissioned portraits.
Is there an additional cost for another pet?
Yes. If you want another pet in the portrait please include the photo. It can be a separate photo. The price with another animal is an additional 50%. Please contact me for a price.
Do the portraits come framed?
Framing is very individualized as it is dependent on where the portrait is hung, personal color preferences. In addition, framing costs vary considerably. Therefore I feel that it is best for you to choose your mat and frame.
What sizes are available?
The portrait can be any size up to 20? in either dimension.
Standard sizes are: 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 9 x 12, 11 x 14, 18 x 20
