It’s icy and snowy today so I decided to paint a Zinnia to remind that spring is coming!
I wanted to paint differently than I normally do. It’s sometimes refreshing to try something new.  I love the way the background turned out.

I’ve been away from my paints for a few months and it’s great to be back on the easel.
