These yellow apples which I used for the composition are fake apples that were purchased for my class. They really come in handy when it’s frigid cold outside and I want to stay in. The bowl is red yet the direct light it was under gave the illusion of the pink in the bottom.  I enjoy creating different effects with light. It allows for endless compositions for one subject.

Although I’ve missed a couple of days in my February challenge I’m happy that I’ve completed 10 paintings so far.
